TEACHING OPPORTUNITIES FOR BLACK HAWK COLLEGE, MOLINE, ILLINOIS

Minimum Competency:

COURT REPORTING TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM – Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) or Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) required. Associates degree plus two-years work experience with court reporting, freelancing, captioning or CART. Knowledge of courtroom procedures, ethics, legal terminology, and medical terminology is required. Must have 4,000 hours documented work experience in court reporting, captioning, or freelancing. Must demonstrate oral English proficiency for classroom instruction. Must also pass drug screening and background investigation. Classes may be taught in person, online, or a hybrid.
