Darcy Kriens, RMR, CSR, CRR, CRC

I am a southside Des Moines native.  I graduated from AIB in 1993 and I have been a freelancer, official and captioner.  Most recently a year ago I joined Susan Frye Court Reporting after captioning for 16 years, and I love it!  I have two boys.  My son, Jack, works at Hy-Vee and lives in Des Moines, and my son, Matthew, goes to college in Pensacola, Florida, majoring in marine biology.  When I am not working, my husband and I travel, go camping, kayaking, go to concerts, and spend time with family and friends.  I also used to be a spin teacher as well as a Body Pump instructor, and fitness and wellness is still a big part of my life, although I no longer teach... for now.  I am looking forward to being part of the board and promoting our profession that has been a job I've loved from day one!
